The Meadows Of Moorpark

ROBERT "BOB" HALLMAN
Founder of The Meadows of Moorpark.
He also was our dad and grandfather. Bob was an Army Veteran of WWII. After the war, he then attended UCSB and UCLA and married our mom Joy. He became a Los Angeles Middle School Teacher. Dad had only four things important to him. His faith, family, young riders and our ranch. Bob transformed our 1890 historic homestead into a first class equestrian and camp event center.

It was our Dad's vision, that led to us taking the 1890 Oliver Homestead in "Long Canyon" and add to its history with 31 years of horse shows, summer camps, farming, ranching. Dad used our family ranch to train thousands of children to be great riders and excellent citizens. It is in Dad's spirit, that we use the Meadows Ranch each and every day to benefit others. Dad had a passion for nature, wildlife, UCLA Basketball and of course our Homestead Ranch , "The Meadows of Moorpark." The six of us at the Meadows carry on the 4th generation of Oliver and Hallman tradition.
